Cast a circle completely around that which you want to protect. Purify your circle twice with salt.
Say quietly:
"Goddess, hear us where we stand,
With you protection bless this land,
(insert name) is a servant true
protect him/her from those who mischief do."
Walk around the perimeter of the circle three times deosil.
It helps to perform a banishing before breaking the circle.
